A "journal" type blog post... what is my workload like?
Typical Wednesday in the summer... and random thoughts...
Today I have been up since 5:30am and maybe haven't been particularly productive:
>(housework and healthwork): unloaded dishwasher and began a new load, took my three medicines (I have skipped several days), did I eat breakfast? No, but I have had about 4 cups of coffee and added some protein shake as the "creamer." I did get fully dressed but it looks like I forgot to brush my hair.
>Tutoring work: specific to clients, I came up with a plan for an 8 week course of summer reading and writing about some grade-appropriate books for a client, as well as came up with a vocabulary list and created two vocabulary "crossword puzzles" for Client A, I reviewed an IEP plan and corresponded with a parent for Client B for plans for a year of Learning Coaching for their hybrid Home Schooling experience for next school year
>Grad School studies: I scored the practice Assessments that I conducted on my volunteer neighbor student, but still need to convert raw scores to norms and write up my reflections. I also am about to do another "response video" to introductions for one of my courses and start working on taking notes for reading materials. I also need to prep on procedure for giving the GORT-5 assessment, which I am doing on a volunteer so I can reflect on this experience for my course.
>EBLI certification: have not done work yet today, but I plan on reviewing videos for Tracks 2 and Tracks 3 activities that I will be doing with tutoring students C and D today and tomorrow, as well doing all the reading and video watching and note taking for at least three more activities on my training "journey."
>Tutoring Business admin: I plan to finish up/tweak my monthly "progress reports" for Clients C and D and send to their parents. I also hope to get around to adding my receipts to my expense spreadsheet, and finish setting up e-files for Client E who I will begin seeing next week.
>seeing clients: This afternoon/early evening I am having an in-person session with client C and a virtual session with Client A, and I have a phone meeting scheduled with parent of Client B.
>at some point i am going to run over to Hoover Public Library to return items and maybe check out some more.
